Medial Flange
Shell – The edge of the shell material wraps higher onto the MLA for added support. Will make the shell material seem more rigid and take up extra room in a shoe.
Soft – The topcover material wraps higher onto the MLA for added support. Not as aggressive as the shell medial flange but requires less extra room in footwear.
